Who Am I?
I grew up in Islamabad, Pakistan. My parents were designers (with fabric, not pixels) but always encouraged me to pursue my dreams of being a 'scientist.' Initially, that meant growing up to make a time machine. Later, that meant writing code and developing at LUMS. For some time in between, it meant building a startup. Now, it means understanding people and helping them solve their problems. Right now, I'm currently completing my Master's in HCI at Purdue University where I create value by drawing rectangles on a screen. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, I help ~80 undergraduates also find value in rectangles and guide them through the messy process of design. As a certified doomscroll hater, I'm currently working on a way to help people get back to what they need to be doing after they're done using social media. When I'm not pushin' p(ixels), you'll find me watching a YouTube video on some obscure topic, reading a book, exploring a new productivity hack, or brewing a cup of coffee. I'm looking to join a team where I can be inspired and inspire. I believe the best part of working is collaborating and building with others. I want to work with people who inspire me to inspire others.
